The bottom flange of the structural beam intersects the required duct routing path at this location, leaving insufficient clearance for the ductwork to pass as currently designed.

Please review the attached field markup/photos (if applicable) and advise on the preferred resolution. Specifically, please confirm one of the following courses of action, or provide an alternative solution:

• Reroute the 24"x16" supply duct around the beam (please advise on acceptable routing and any required duct size/shape transitions).
• Approve installation of a transfer duct/sleeve through the beam web (please confirm if beam penetration is structurally permissible and provide any reinforcement requirements).
• Revise the structural beam depth or configuration at Gridline C4 to accommodate the existing duct routing.
