Claude doesn't quote, bind, or know any carrier's underwriting rules, so price, eligibility and coverage decisions come from your systems and your carriers.
Is the Claude plugin for insurance agents free?
Yes. The Insurance Agent plugin is free, but Claude plugins need a paid Claude plan. Claude Pro is $20 a month, or $17 a month billed annually; check claude.com/pricing for current prices. The prompts also work in Claude's free plan if you paste them in yourself.

Is it safe to put client information into Claude?
Keep personal and sensitive details out; the coverage terms and the situation are enough for a good draft. Leave out names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver's license and policy numbers, bank details, and health information, and add them yourself in your agency management system. Check your agency's, carriers' and state's rules on AI tools before you start.
